The companies catching on were mostly technology and advancement companies like Facebook and Google.
Three Parts to Inbound Marketing
Effective inbound marketing is thought out in a specific way. There are three stages of successfully using an inbound marketing strategy. The three stages are as followed attract, engage and delight. These three stages are represented on a spinning flywheel.
The Attract Stage
The attract stage is an important step for attracting your target audience. You want people coming to your website or following you on social media who are most likely to become leads. In order to attract the right customers you will need to attract them with relevant content at the right time. Schedule your social media posts describing funny holidays or fun local events. Do not attract by selling the product or service directly through these posts. Another way is to be consistent with blogging. Update your website with a blog once or twice a week regarding information your target market may find useful.
The Engage Stage
The engage stage is the next important step to your inbound marketing strategy. Engaging with your potential customers and prospects is key to retaining and connecting with your target market. Your company can do this by utilizing email, live chat bots on your website or even through commenting on social media posts. Use call to actions and lead magnets to gain contact information on your potential prospects. Use email especially on your customers buyers journey. Send them information and prices directly to make it seem more personal for your audience.
The Delight Stage
The delight stage is the last important step in your inbound marketing strategy. This stage represents your connection with your customers to keep them updated, informed and ultimately happy. Reach out individually to customers through email or social media messaging, Make your customers feel like you know who they are and why they bought your product or service. Make them feel personally connected to the company.
The Positive Outcomes of Using an Inbound Marketing Strategy for your Business
